Where to Stay in Paros
harbour rooms and quiet corners
Where to stay in Paros — from Naoussa's harbour hotels to quieter rooms near Parikia and the beaches, chosen for calm, character, and an easy walk to the water.

Paros gives you two good bases. Naoussa, the old fishing harbour in the north, is the prettiest and most atmospheric — boutique hotels in whitewashed lanes, tavernas on the water, and the island's best evenings. Parikia, the capital and main port, is bigger and more practical, with quieter dinners and easy ferries.
For maximum calm, look just outside the towns — near Kolymbithres or the eastern beaches — or cross to neighbouring Antiparos entirely. Below are a few places we'd point a friend to; book the shoulder season and you'll have the harbour mostly to yourself.

Questions, Answered
Where is the best area to stay in Paros?
Naoussa, the northern harbour town, is the most atmospheric base — whitewashed lanes, waterfront tavernas, and the liveliest evenings. Parikia, the capital, is bigger and more practical with quieter dinners. For calm, stay just outside the towns near the beaches, or cross to Antiparos.
Is Paros expensive?
Paros spans the range. Naoussa has genuine luxury (Parìlio, Cosme) and plenty of mid-range boutique rooms; Parikia and the inland villages are more affordable. Prices drop noticeably in the shoulder season (late May–June, September).
